On WhatsApp. Send us the piece you are looking at and a photograph of the wall, and we will come back with what fits and what it will take. There is no checkout on this site yet, on purpose: sizing a mandir to a wall is a conversation, not a form.

Before we start cutting, yes, and there is no charge. Once making has begun it becomes harder, because the piece is being built to your order and cannot be sold to somebody else. Tell us as early as you can and we will do what we reasonably can.

Yes, and it is one of the main reasons people come to us. Tell us the occasion and the date you need it by, and we will tell you honestly whether the lead time works. If it does not, we will say so rather than take the order.

The teak is selected and left to settle, the jaali is cut and cleaned up by hand, the body is joined, the lighting channels are routed and wired, and then the whole thing is finished and left to cure. The finishing and the curing take longer than people expect, and rushing either of them is what makes a mandir look cheap in a year.

Solid teak and real brass. No veneer over particle board, no plated metal, and no chrome or nickel anywhere in the range. The Brass Aarti uses genuine Moradabad brass for its lattice.

Often, yes. Since each piece is made to order anyway, adjusting a dimension to suit a particular wall is usually possible. Send us the wall and we will tell you what can move and what cannot.

No. Every piece hangs on a French cleat, which is two holes in the wall and a rail that the mandir drops onto. It comes with the cleat, the fixings and a template, and it lifts off just as cleanly when you move house.

On a solid brick or concrete wall, comfortably. On a drywall or partition wall it depends on where the studs are, so tell us what you have and we will tell you what is needed before you order rather than after it arrives.

No. The lighting runs on a low voltage adaptor into an ordinary socket. The wiring inside the mandir is already routed through concealed channels, so the only cable you ever see is the one going to the plug, and we position that to be as invisible as the wall allows.

Most compact smart speakers. The cavity is behind the deity with a channel routing the sound up and out, so the music comes from the mandir rather than from a box on the shelf. There are no electronics inside the product itself, so you choose the speaker and you can change it whenever you like.

Yes. That is what the brass tray, the heat shield and the smoke vent channel are for. It is built for a flame that is lit every morning, which is not something most mandirs on the market can say.

Yes, slowly, and we would leave it. Brass takes on a deeper tone with handling and with smoke, and that is the material behaving as it should. If you prefer it bright, an occasional polish brings it straight back.

A dry cloth on the wood, and a dry cloth on the brass. Keep water off the teak and keep polish away from the finish. The jaali collects a little dust in the cut lines, and a soft dry brush lifts it out.
